TURN-OVER OF LIVELIHOOD PROJECTS TO 9 BARANGAYS BY PRC

Cabugao, Ilocos Sur - Nine barangays of the towns of Cabugao and Sinait are the beneficiaries of the Community Managed Livelihood Project Typhoon Ompong Recovery Operations of the Philippine Red Cross,  Ilocos Sur Chapter. The project started on April 1, 2019 and  ended  September 14, 2019.


On September 12, 2019, the  PRC Ilocos Sur led the ceremonial turn-over of the project to nine associations of farmers and women at the Farmers Hall of Cabugao town. Their livelihood is selling rice, feeds, and frozen foods.

Cabugao Mayor Edgardo “Ediboy” S. Cobangbang, Jr.  thanked the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for the livelihood project given to three barangays of his town affected by typhoon Ompong. The project is supported by the Spanish Red Cross. # ADAPTED News
