MONTH OF MOUNTAINS

On April 15 2001, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo issued Presidential Proclamation No. 176 declaring the year 2002 as the “Year of Mountains” and the month of June of every year as the Month of the Mountains in the Philippines.
