The Department of Social Welfare and Development invited BFP Cabugao as guess speaker for their program for the month of August as Disaster Preparedness Month. It was a month-long activity where all members of the Pantawid Pamilyaing Pilipino Program of all Barangays of the Municipality of Cabugao were taught how and what to do in case of disaster like fire.
Furthermore, the program also helps in clarifying to the civilian public the main duties of Fire Officers, that we do not only suppress fire but also we prevent it and we provide rescue and emergency medical services.
