The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office said the Paper-and-Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) for Region 1 that was earlier suspended due to Typhoon “Lando” was moved to December 6.
Romel Rivera, senior human resource specialist of the CSC-Lingayen, said examinees will have the same testing center and school assignment that was provided in the earlier exam originally set last Oct. 18.
At least 3,260 examinees are set to take the career service examination.
“For examinees who registered to take the CSE-PPT in Dagupan City testing centers, the professional level will be held at the Dagupan City National High School while the sub-professional level will be at the Lyceum-Northwestern University, also in Dagupan City,” Rivera told the Philippine Information Agency.
Pursuant to CSC Examination Advisory No. 15, s. 2015, the general admission rules will apply on the examination day where examinees are required to present the following: identification card; original NSO birth certificate (if ID card has no date of birth); application receipt with corresponding CSC official receipt; and notice of school assignment generated online.
Rivera said that all affected examinees will only be given one chance to take the rescheduled examination free of charge.
“Those who would not be able to take the December 6 examination will have their examination fee and slot forfeited. Any request for postponement or another rescheduling will not be allowed,” he said.
For this matter, they will file a new application for the next schedule of CSE-PPT and pay the corresponding examination fee, he added.
For inquiries and clarifications, examinees may visit the nearest CSC Field Office.
“Examinees situated in western Pangasinan areas may visit the CSC-Lingayen Field Office located at the National Services Building, Capitol Compound in this town or call at telephone no. (075) 529-9394,” Rivera said. # Source - (MCA/April M. Montes/PIA-1, Pangasinan).
